Salams, I’m Sayeda Habib. First of all, thank you for stopping by and visiting the site. I hope that you’ve found the information, articles, and free report useful. I feel truly privileged and humbled when someone contacts me and says that they found an article, or the book useful. When anyone contacts me to inquire about coaching, I always ask myself the question “how can i make the best possible difference to this person, right now?” So even if we are just having an informal conversation, or a coaching session, my intention will be to have a positive interaction, and leave the other person with something to reflect on, or a tip to use.
My promise to you….
I believe that the trust a client gives is a huge privilege for the coach, and it creates a powerful alliance between the coach and client. I take the trust a client puts in me quite seriously. So if you choose to work with me, I will do my utmost to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space, where you can talk about you- and anything that you wish to address. The sessions will focus on your agenda, and the aim will be for you to move forward with every session. We may have a casual conversation, or we may be doing some exercises, even walking around the room, if appropriate. I will also be available in-between sessions on email should you need some extra support occasionally, or just to share. Our work together will be a team effort. So, if you also invest in your journey, show up for sessions prepared and on time, then indeed it will be a rewarding journey for you. With your effort, and Allah’s blessings, you will learn a great deal about yourself and achieve your goals, insha’Allah.
Ok, so I’ve made a promise that I will provide excellent coaching. I can make this
promise because I’ve had truly excellent training and I hold the,
I wanted to provide the highest possible standard of coaching, and truth be told, my first training was very lacking. They had promised a lot more than they delivered, and I realized that this just wasn’t good enough, so I invested another year to seek out the best possible training, mentoring and assessment standards in the coaching industry. In addition to my coaching training, I am trained as a Master Practitioner in NLP. I have also studied other therapies such as Time Line Therapy, and hypnotherapy, all in the effort to have lots of different skills to best serve my clients.
Why I chose to coach Muslims…
Coaching is gaining some recognition now, but there was no awareness of it at all when I began my coaching career in 2004. In fact, when I would tell someone that I am a life coach, they would ask me “so what swimming pool do you work at?” I would explain what a life coach does, and even then, many people didn’t really take to the idea of talking to a professional about their issues.
I didn’t let any of these obstacles stop me, because I knew that coaching was really needed in our community. As Muslims, our concerns, rules and values can’t really be understood by a non-Muslim. Over the years, several clients have told me that they were looking for a Muslim to help them. Alhamdulillah, that was my intention, and i’ve been very fortunate to have been able to serve my community. Because I work on telephone, Skype and now over Watsapp (we can work together as long as I can hear your voice), my client reach isn’t reduced to where I live. Over the past 12 years, I’ve coached people living in the USA, UAE, Pakistan, Sweden, Denmark, England and Nigeria. Our Muslim identity takes precedence over culture, so even if you’re from a different country to mine, I can understand the values behind our common faith. Also, I’ve coached people with many different levels of practice. I am here to provide a non-judgemental space where you can be yourself, and achieve your potential.
Some of the areas that i’ve worked with my clients include enhancing their self-confidence, improving or starting a career, healing from a divorce, wanting to get married, improving health, breaking procrastination and so on. It can be virtually any area of your life, and no goal is too small. If you ever feel a little stuck, unable to figure out the next step, then coaching can support you in breaking through that barrier.
What if coaching is too expensive?
I realize that a lot of people would love to have coaching, but the reality is that they have too many other obligations and may not be able to afford it. I am passionate about making coaching accessible to everybody. These skills and tools are for everyone, and I believe that every human being has the right to improve their life if they truly want to. This is why I wrote my book “Discover the Best in You: Life Coaching for Muslims.” This book is for those of you who may not have access to a coach, or have other obstacles in the way. You can buy this book and you will find that the exercises, tips and tools will help you in various areas. The book covers goal setting, self-esteem, time management, relationship enhancement, and how to overcome challenges and let go of baggage. Start with the book, see how you get on, and if you really want, then we can arrange to have a session if it works for you.
Again, thank you for visiting the site, and taking the time to get to know me. I hope that I will get to know you and support you in creating a life you love. My best wishes to you for your journey-Sayeda.
